Project notes

This collection comes from a public-facing 3D projection and lighting mapping project. I used Cinema 4D, Substance Painter and related rendering workflows to design and build 3D scenes, materials, lighting variations, visual segments and rhythmic motion. The visuals needed to remain clear and impactful under dark-space, projection-scale and live viewing conditions, so rhythm, contrast, material layering and spatial depth became central design concerns. The project was presented at Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology during the 2021 Dragon Boat Festival campus event.
